By leveraging advanced imaging techniques, artificial intelligence, and interactive display technologies, preservationists can now offer broader access while maintaining the integrity of irreplaceable materials. This paper presents findings from recent preservation projects and proposes a framework for evaluating technological interventions in the historical preservation domain.
